DAY 1 - FRIDAY - DEPARTURE
A convenient evening flight takes you to Athens, Greece.
DAY2-SATURDAY-ATHENS
Welcome to Athens. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the small streets of Athens.
DAY 3 -SUNDAY-ATHENS
Morning tour of Athens visiting the famed Parthenon and Acropolis Museum, Tomb of the Unkown Soldier, Royal Palace, temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathenian Stadium and the flea market. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
DAY 4 -MONDAY-SARONIC ISLAND CRUISE
Morning transfer to Pireaus where you will board your cruise ship for a day sail to the islands of Hydra, Aegina and Poros. Lunch is included. (B,L)
DAY 5 -TUESDAY- DELPHI
Enjoy a leisurely drive to Delphi where you will visit the Archaeological Museum including the famous Charioteer, Statue of Anitnoos and Naxian Sphinx. Lunch and return to Athens. (B,L)
DAY 6 -WEDNESDAY-ATHENS-ISTANBUL
Morning transfer to the airport for a flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at yourleisure. (B)
DAY 7 -THURSDAY-ISTANBUL
After breakfast, our exploration of vibrant Istanbul begins. Behold the breathtaking beauty of the Blue
Mosque: after leaving your shoes at the door step inside, enjoy the rare beauty of its spectacular interior decorated with at least 20000 blue Iznik tiles and stained glass windows. Visit St. Sophia Museum or St. Savior in Chora Church. Continue to the famous medieval palace of the sultans, Topkapi, where you will marvel at the exquisite porcelain collection and some of the world's biggest diamonds and emeralds. (B,L)
DAY 8 - FRIDAY - ISTANBUL
Enjoy the day at your leisure. (B)
DAY 9 - SATURDAY-ISTANBUL-IZMIR -
PERGAMUM - KUSADASI
Early morning transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Izmir. Upon arrival in Izmir drive to Pergamum. Visit the Acropolis, Temple of Athens, Dionysus and the Alter of Zeus. After lunch proceed to Kusadasi where you will have time atyourleisure. (B,L,D)
DAY 10 - SUNDAY-KUSADASI-EPHESUS
After breakfast visit the ancient city of Ephesus including the Archeological Museum. The Temple of Diana, The Basilica and the tomb of St. John, ruins from the period of St. Paul and the House ofVirgin Mary. (B,L,D)
DAY 11 - MONDAY IZMIR-ISTANBUL
Return to Istanbul for a final day at your leisure. (B)
DAY 12 - TUESDAY-ATHENS-DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Athens. Connect with yourflight to New York.
